What this tool cannot tell you
- • It checks structure, not authenticity. A valid MRZ proves nothing about a document.
- • It cannot read a chip, verify a signature, or detect a forgery.
- • Printed data you type in Compare is only compared as text.
- • Output is test and learning data — never use it as an identity document.
Cookies and analytics
No tracking cookies, no analytics, no accounts. The only thing saved on your device is the light/dark theme preference (localStorage: mrz-theme).
